Are you a Graduate or Early Career Occupational Therapist looking for a role where learning, support and development are genuinely at the heart of the organisation?

This opportunity has been built around helping junior clinicians become confident, capable OTs without expecting them to figure everything out on their own.

You’ll join an established allied health organisation with multiple clinic locations across Brisbane, giving you the chance to work alongside experienced clinicians rather than spending your entire week working independently in the community.

For a graduate or junior OT, it is a fantastic environment to build your clinical skills, learn from senior therapists and gradually develop your independence.

Why this role stands out

There are plenty of Occupational Therapy roles available where clinicians are predominantly mobile and working independently from day one. This opportunity is different.

The organisation places a genuine emphasis on learning, supervision and working together as a team.

You’ll have senior clinicians around you to ask questions, discuss clients, review reports and help you work through more complex situations as your confidence develops.

Rather than simply being handed a caseload and sent into the community, you’ll have access to clinics,

experienced clinicians and a multidisciplinary team throughout your week.

Multiple Brisbane Locations

The organisation operates from multiple clinic locations across Brisbane, helping clinicians work from a base that is convenient to where they live. This also allows community caseloads to be kept reasonably local, reducing unnecessary travel and helping create a much more sustainable working week.

Caseload

The caseload can include a broad mix of clients, giving early career OTs the opportunity to develop experience across different areas of practice. Depending on your interests, this may include:

- Paediatric clients
- Autism and developmental presentations
- Functional capacity assessments
- Activities of daily living
- Assistive technology
- Home modifications
- NDIS participants
- Community-based therapy
- Adult clients if this is an area you would like to explore

The organisation wants clinicians to gradually discover the areas of OT they enjoy most and develop their skills accordingly.

Learning & Support

Learning is genuinely at the heart of this organisation. As an early career clinician, you’ll have access to experienced Occupational Therapists with 15+ years' experience who genuinley understand that graduates need time, guidance and exposure to different clinical situations.

Support can include

- Regular clinical supervision
- Access to senior Occupational Therapists
- Case discussions and mentoring
- Support with assessments and report writing
- Shadowing opportunities
- Gradual caseload development
- Multidisciplinary collaboration
- Ongoing professional development
- A team around you when you need advice

The aim is to help you become a strong clinician over the long term rather than expecting you to know everything immediately.

What’s on offer

- Salaries starting from $80,000 + super for graduates
- Higher salaries available for clinicians with experience
- Multiple clinic locations across Brisbane
- Strong graduate and early career support
- Experienced senior Occupational Therapists
- Multidisciplinary team environment
- Clinic and community-based work
- Localised community caseloads where possible
- Work-from-home flexibility
- Car allowance for community visits
- Regular supervision and mentoring
- Professional development opportunities
- Broad OT caseload
- Opportunity to develop your own clinical interests
- Genuine long-term career progression

Who this would suit

This would be an excellent opportunity for a new graduate looking for their first Occupational Therapy role, or an early career OT who feels they would benefit from more supervision, mentoring and interaction with other clinicians. If your priority is finding an organisation where you can learn, ask questions, build confidence and become a genuinely strong OT, this role is definitely worth exploring.
