We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department on a full-time permanent basis, based at Caulfield Racecourse. With this role becoming available through an internal promotion, it’s a great opportunity to join a team where creativity is valued and career growth is encouraged.

Joining at the start of our busy and vibrant summer racing season, you’ll have the chance to make an immediate impact across high-profile campaigns while building your career with an iconic sporting and entertainment organisation. Working with a creative and collaborative team, you’ll design across both print and digital channels, including event collateral, advertising, signage, EDMs, social media assets and web content.

In The Saddle

- Create eye-catching designs across print and digital, from race day signage and event collateral to EDMs, social content, advertising and web assets.
- Help bring major MRC moments to life, including campaigns connected to the Caulfield Cup Carnival and other key racing and event experiences.
- Take creative briefs and turn them into polished, on-brand artwork with strong layout, colour and typography.
- Work closely with a creative, collaborative team across marketing, digital,



membership and events to deliver campaigns people notice.
- Jump into a quick-moving environment where no two days are the same, juggling exciting projects while keeping the quality high.
- Bring fresh ideas to the table, stay curious about design trends and help keep the MRC brand looking sharp.

Your Track Record

- A qualification in Graphic Design, Creative Industries or a related field.
- 2 years’ experience in graphic design, whether you’ve built your skills in-house, agency-side or both.
- Confident using Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, along with Microsoft Office.
- A genuine interest in branding, visual identity and creating work that feels fresh and on-brand.
- A great communicator who enjoys working with others and can keep projects moving.
- An eye for the details, especially when it comes to layout, typography and polished presentation.
- Comfortable juggling a few things at once and staying calm when deadlines are close.
- Experience with After Effects and Figma would be a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.
- An interest in the racing industry would also be a outstanding bonus.
