About Move Through CoMove Through Co is a youth disability organisation based in Surry Hills, Sydney, delivering multidisciplinary group programs for young people (YP) with disability. Our team currently includes Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Social Work, working together to help YP build meaningful friendships, life skills, and the confidence and self-esteem to be themselves.

We're a young, fun and genuinely innovative team, always finding new ways to support YP with disability and complex mental health needs — in both group and 1:1 settings.

The RoleWe're looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP) to join our multidisciplinary team as a clinical facilitator in our group programs, alongside a small 1:1 caseload.

This is a unique role: you'll help design and run group programs in a relaxed, fun environment, working closely with our OT, Speech Pathology and Social Work team, while also delivering 1:1 behaviour support to a small number of participants.

Start at 1–2 days per week, with the chance to grow as our programs expand.

Key Responsibilities

Group facilitation

- Co-design and facilitate group programs alongside OT, Speech Pathology and Social Work colleagues
- Provide clinical behaviour support input into group planning and activities
- Support young people to build friendships, life skills, confidence and self-esteem within a group setting
- Manage behaviours of concern in real time within group sessions
- Contribute to a fun, relaxed, youth-friendly group environment

1:1 caseload

- Hold a small caseload of 1:1 clients for individual behaviour support
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments
- Develop,



implement and review NDIS-compliant Behaviour Support Plans
- Collaborate with families, carers and other stakeholders
- Liaise with OT, Speech Pathology and Social Work colleagues on shared clients

Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, allied health, disability studies or a related field
- Registered as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Minimum 2+ years' clinical experience working with people with disability and/or complex needs
- Demonstrated experience conducting functional behaviour assessments and developing Behaviour Support Plans
- Sound understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and behaviour support legislative framework
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working across a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to build rapport with young people and work confidently in a group facilitation setting
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
