We are looking for a reliable and practical Handyman / Motel All-Rounder to join our team at Ibis Styles Albany.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on and is happy to help wherever needed around the motel.
Duties will include:
- General handyman and minor maintenance work
- Basic painting and touch-ups
- Fixing minor leaks, changing washers and simple repairs
- Lawn mowing, gardening and general landscaping
- Keeping outdoor and common areas tidy
- Helping with linen, including moving and organising linen
- Assisting housekeepers when required
- Basic room and property maintenance
- Identifying maintenance issues before they become bigger problems
- Other general jobs around the motel as required
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Has previous handyman or maintenance experience
- Is practical and can think outside the box
- Can work independently without needing constant supervision
- Is physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Is flexible and happy to assist with housekeeping and linen when needed
- Takes pride in keeping the property well maintained
Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week
