About the role

We are looking for experienced and reliable HC/MC drivers to join Rousstrans P/L. The role involves operating semi-trailers and truck-and-dog combinations safely and efficiently across the Sydney metropolitan area. The role involves securing loads in accordance with all safety requirements, completing daily pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections, adhering to driving hour restrictions and fatigue management requirements, and maintaining your vehicle to a clean and professional standard.

Key responsibilities

- Operate a semi & truck and dog safely and efficiently across the Sydney metro area




- Secure loads in accordance with all safety requirements
- Complete daily pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to driving hour restrictions and fatigue management requirements
- Maintain your vehicle to a clean and skilled standard

About you

- Current and valid MC or HC licence with a clean driving history
- Minimum 1 year experience driving heavy vehicles
- Roadranger gearbox experience required
- Must hold a current White Card
- Available Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work required
- Sound knowledge of Sydney metropolitan roads and surrounding areas
- Comfortable using a smartphone and communicating over two-way radio
- Well presented with a professional approach
- Reliable, flexible, and trustworthy with a genuine can-do attitude
