About the role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty (HD) Mechanic to join our team at Groweys Mining And Civil in Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fleets of heavy mining and civil equipment to the highest standards, ensuring secure and efficient operations on our sites.

What you'll be doing

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy mining equipment, including excavators, haul trucks, and loaders
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on equipment
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and spare parts usage
- Collaborate with the broader maintenance team to optimise equipment performance and availability
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

What we're looking for

- Formal qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in the mining or construction industry




- Strong understanding of heavy equipment systems, including hydraulics, electrical, and engine mechanics
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
