Be part of something from the very beginning.
Juno is looking for an experienced Head Chef to help launch one of Port Adelaide's most exciting new hospitality venues.
This is an opportunity to shape a brand-new waterfront café, restaurant and events venue from day one. You'll have genuine input into the menu, kitchen culture and team, with the support and freedom to make the role your own.
If you're passionate about great food, love leading people and want to leave your mark on a venue with incredible potential, we'd love to hear from you.
About Juno
Opening in Spring 2026, Juno is a new waterfront café, restaurant and events venue located on the Port River in the heart of Port Adelaide.
Following extensive renovations, the venue will feature a brand-new commercial kitchen, bar and beautifully designed event spaces overlooking the water with uninterrupted 270-degree river views.
Juno will operate six days a week, serving breakfast, brunch and lunch, while also hosting weddings, corporate functions, birthdays and special events.
Our café menu will focus on easy, delicious food made with quality local produce, while our events offering will showcase elevated canapés and plated dining designed for memorable celebrations.
Our ambition is simple: to become Port Adelaide's favourite destination for exceptional coffee, relaxed waterfront dining and unforgettable events.
We’re looking for someone excited by the opportunity to help build something special from the ground up.
Juno is the newest venue within the Daddy West Hospitality Group, a growing South Australian hospitality business focused on creating distinctive venues and memorable guest experiences. Alongside Juno, the group also operates CONFESSION, a boutique functions and events venue located nearby in Port Adelaide.

Operating by private booking only, CONFESSION is a boutique private functions and events venue offering a canapé-focused catering menu. This aspect of the role typically requires only a small amount of time each week and provides an opportunity to help maintain consistent culinary standards across both venues.
