The Administration Assistant is responsible for providing effective clerical assistance to the Community Services team, as well as general reception duties as required.
n
Core Responsibilities:
n
n
- Provision of reception/switchboard duties to the public and clients including:
n
- The provision of excellent customer service by greeting and assisting visitors and clients by handling inquiries and providing information promptly
n
- Being the first point of contact for phone calls and clients as they arrive in Community Services
n
- Responding to client queries regarding accounts
n
n
Essential Criteria:
n
n
- In-depth knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles
n
- A minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with a high level of accuracy
n
- Empathy with older people with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to reconcile daily money received and preparation of moneys for banking
n
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member of Community Services
n
- Ability to work without direct supervision to complete duties and achieve deadlines
n
- Qualified telephone communication and customer services skills
n
n
