Yeh's Group (YEHS Hotel) is a growing Australian based independent chain that currently has several locations in Sydney and Melbourne. We are still growing in other states and soon internationally.

YEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites is a vibrant hotel centrally located in the heart of

Sydney CBD. Only within walking distance to the Townhall Station, ICC Sydney, Darling

Harbour and Westfield Shopping District, neatly situated on Sussex Street.

We currently are looking for Full-Time staff, and it is a Sydney based role.

About the role

You will be joining this 150 rooms hotel located in the heart of Sydney CBD. Working alongside Guest Service Supervisor and assisting them in maintaining the hotel to a high-quality standard.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent guest service, effective operational management, and effective leadership of hotel staff. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

· Take overall responsibility for hotel operations during evening and overnight shifts in the absence of senior management.

· Coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Maintenance and Security operations to ensure smooth hotel operations.

· Supervise staff, allocate duties, monitor performance and ensure compliance with hotel policies and service standards.

· Monitor hotel occupancy, room availability, revenue and operational performance against business KPIs.

· Manage guest services, reservations, room allocations,



complaints and service recovery matters.

· Coordinate housekeeping operations to maintain room cleanliness, presentation and room readiness.

· Oversee evening Food and Beverage operations and ensure service, hygiene and operational standards are maintained.

· Monitor financial transactions, cash handling, guest accounts, rebates and revenue reports in liaison with Finance.

· Monitor hotel supplies, inventory and purchasing requirements and liaise with suppliers as required.

· Ensure compliance with OH&S;, security, emergency and company procedures across hotel operations.

· Handle operational incidents, emergencies and security matters and liaise with senior management or emergency services when required.

· Prepare daily shift and operational reports and provide comprehensive handover to incoming management.

· Contribute to improving hotel efficiency, guest satisfaction, revenue and overall business performance.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

Outstanding customer service skills

Have a passion for hospitality and learning.

Excellent grooming and presentation skills The ability to work autonomously and juggle competing tasks under pressure.

Previous experience in a senior/supervisory role, in a hotel Front Office capacity.

Unlimited working rights and flexibility to work 38 hours a week, including a rotating roster that consists of the early, late, weekend and public holiday shifts.

Twelve months of industry experience and tertiary degree/qualification in hospitality.

Relevant Hospitality software skills and general computer literacy are advantageous.

Hold a current First Aid Certificate & RSA (Desirable but not essential)

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
