About the Role
Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be the first point of contact for employees requiring technical assistance. You'll provide hands-on support for end-user devices, business systems and IT services while helping to maintain a secure and reliable technology environment.
This is a customer-focused role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting users and improving processes. Complex infrastructure and system issues are escalated to the IT Manager and external service providers for Level 3 support.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to employees across the business.
· Manage and resolve support requests through the helpdesk system.
· Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, scanners and mobile devices.
· Configure and maintain user accounts, devices and system access.
· Support business applications and technology services.
· Maintain IT asset registers and equipment records.
· Assist with system upgrades, testing and technology projects.
· Support endpoint security,
software updates and device compliance.
· Develop and maintain IT procedures, knowledge articles and user guides.
· Assist with onboarding, user training and technical inductions.
· Support the development of the IT Trainee through coaching and process reviews.
· Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and service delivery.
About You
· Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT support or similar role.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Experience supporting Windows desktop environments.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
· Strong organisational and documentation skills.
Desirable
- Diploma in Information Technology or related qualification.
- Experience with Pronto ERP.
- Exposure to Azure environments.
- Experience with 3CX phone systems.
- Knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot and AI productivity tools.
