We are currently seeking a Junior Cost Controller to join our Perth Team to assist on a pipeline of projects in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. You will play a key role in the success of our projects by working closely with the Project Managers, Site Supervisors and other construction personnel while learning and utilising your project cost controller skills.

The Opportunity

- Maintain detailed and accurate cost control systems for labour, plant, subcontractors, materials, and overheads,

- Responsible for the progress, analysis and cost management of the project in compliance with the agreed budget and resources,

- Validate and track variations, claims, and approved changes,

- Prepare weekly and monthly project cost reports, dashboards, and performance summaries,

- Support audits, cost reviews, and compliance with company financial procedures,

- Ensure alignment of cost data between site reporting, project schedules,



procurement systems, and finance,

- Monitoring of the monetary progress of the project ensuring that expenditures are captured and recorded properly,

Position requirements:

- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience,

- Entry level experience in civil construction projects (roads, earthworks, structures, utilities, mining, or marine).

- Ability to communicate cost information clearly to non-financial stakeholders,

- Team player mindset with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships,

- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyse large datasets,

- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy,

- Competent in the use of software such as MS Project, P6 and Pronto.
