Redcape Hospitality is looking for an experienced Kitchenhand to join our team at Durack Tavern in Brisbane’s south-west.
You’ll keep the wash-up area moving, maintain a clean and organised kitchen and support our chefs with basic food preparation. Previous kitchenhand experience is essential—you’ll understand the pace of service and how much the team relies on you.

What you’ll be doing
- Keep dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment clean and ready for service
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen throughout your shift
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and storage
- Support chefs with basic food preparation
- Complete daily cleaning tasks and follow food safety procedures
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience working as a kitchenhand in a busy commercial kitchen
- A reliable approach—you turn up on time and ready to work
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to keep moving and prioritise tasks during busy service
- Availability across days, nights, weekends and public holidays
