Southern.IML Pathology has a vacancy for full-time Laboratory Pathology Aide to work in the Microbiology Department. The successful applicant must be highly motivated, keen to learn and able to work quickly and accurately in a busy work environment. The successful applicant must have the ability to pay attention to details, proven troubleshooting skills, and be proactive in meeting the needs of the position.
Essential criteria:
-Deal with staff and clients in a professional manner.
-Ability to use positive language using explicit communication.
-Accuracy demonstrating the ability to pay attention to details.
-Proven trouble shooting skills to resolve matters as they arise.
-Be proactive in dealing with matters as they arise within scope of the position.
-Multitask
-Ability to work independently and co-operatively in a busy department.
-Work permanent afternoon and/or night shift
Desirable criteria:
-Medical and/or pathology experience
-Medical terminology
