Role Description The Laborer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Melbourne Area. In this role, you will assist with the construction and installation of verandas and related outdoor structures, including site preparation, material handling, and basic assembly tasks under supervision. You will help load and unload materials, use hand and power tools, maintain a clean and safe worksite, and support tradespeople and supervisors as needed.





Day-to-day responsibilities also include following safety procedures, accurately following instructions and plans, and contributing to efficient project completion and high-quality outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working in outdoor conditions.
- Basic skills in using hand and power tools, with a willingness to learn construction and installation techniques.
- Strong attention to safety, including following site safety protocols and using personal protective equipment.
- Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow directions from supervisors and team leaders.
- Valuable teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully with colleagues and customers.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various sites in the Greater Melbourne Area.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or similar manual labor roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Right to work in Australia and ability to pass any required background or reference checks.
