A long-established national plaintiff firm is looking for a Personal Injury Lawyer to join its Brisbane CBD office. This is a chance to step up, run your own files and build a serious personal injury practice with proper support behind you.

You will carry a full and wide-ranging caseload across public liability, workers compensation (state and federal), motor vehicle claims, TPD, income protection and life insurance.

You will advise clients, gather evidence, draft, negotiate and appear. You will not be a cog in a machine.

Your files are yours to run, with a Senior Associate and a supervising Partner close at hand when you want a second opinion.

The firm has a strong reputation for outcomes and for the way it treats its clients. The Brisbane team is small, friendly and collaborative, and the work is busy and rewarding.





If you have been doing good work without much recognition, or you want a wider mix of PI matters than you currently get, this is worth a conversation.

What you will be doing

- Running personal injury files from intake to resolution, including public liability, workers compensation, CTP and insurance claims
- Giving clear, practical advice to clients on a range of PI matters
- Gathering evidence, conducting research and drafting correspondence and court documents
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court
- Building strong working relationships with clients, medical experts and other stakeholders
- Sharing what you know with the wider team and helping the practice keep improving

What we are looking for

- A minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience in personal injury law
- A current Australian practising certificate
- Experience across general PI work types and the ability to manage a full file load efficiently
- Confident, warm communication with clients, third parties and colleagues
- Strong research, drafting and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, organised and able to prioritise a diverse caseload
