Kangaroo Island Community Education (KICE), Kangaroo Island, South Australia is a multi-campus school which was formed in 2005 as a result of a community initiative to review the model of education delivery on Kangaroo Island.

Parndana Campus is a Preschool to Year 10 Campus located in the heart of Kangaroo Island, set within the township of Parndana. With a close-knit community of approximately 170 students, children transition seamlessly from the Playgroup and/or Child Care Centre to Preschool, then Reception, and continue through their formal schooling to Year 10.

We are looking for a talented and empathetic Inclusion and Student Wellbeing Leader to join our team and ensure the best outcomes for our students.

What you will do:

- Provide collaborative leadership of Inclusive Education and Student Wellbeing, including IESPs, OCOPs and ILPs
- Provide leadership of Positive Behaviour for Learning, support programmes including:, Inclusive Education, Anti Bullying; Pastoral Care; Child Protection, Wellbeing Area of Impact
- Be a part of Leadership supporting the SA Curriculum activation, Strategy for SA Public Education,

- Work co-operatively with the whole school community, Department for Education and relevant agencies to create a safe, supportive and respectful teaching and learning environment where all feel valued.
- Model creative, inclusive, teaching, learning and assessment practices to teachers with a focus on wellbeing, learner agency, capabilities and dispositions

What you will bring:

- Demonstrated high-level skills in case management, problem solving and conflict resolution with a range of students, staff, partners, families and community
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of wellbeing processes, ethical issues, legal obligations, and confidentiality
- Demonstrated experience in contributing to improvement in learning, engagement and wellbeing of students experiencing a range of wellbeing issues or those requiring additional inclusion strategies.
