- Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, together with relevant teaching qualifications and post-graduate studies (completed or underway) relevant to learning diversity.
- Commitment to Queen of Peace’s mission, values, and inclusive approach to teaching and learning.
- A strong commitment to neuroaffirming practices and a positive, strengths-based mindset are essential. We welcome applicants who prioritise creating an inclusive environment for all learners.
- Demonstrated expertise or a strong foundation in positive behaviour support and classroom management strategies is essential,



with a welcoming approach that promotes positive student engagement and well-being.
- Demonstrated understanding of NCCD requirements is essential.
- Postgraduate qualifications or additional study in Special Education/ Inclusive Education are highly regarded. Applications from educators eager to learn and grow in this area are welcomed.
- Knowledge or experience of MTSS is advantageous.
- Trained in and/or an understanding of the Berry Street Education Model and Team Teach is preferred but not essential.Applications should provide a cover letter and curriculum vitae outlining their work and leadership history and the names of three referees.
