About the Role
As our Lending Specialist working across both our Brisbane and Virginia branches, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality lending experience to both new and existing members. You’ll provide personalised financial solutions that make a genuine difference in our members’ financial wellbeing.
In this role, you’ll assess, interview, and process a range of standard and complex mortgage applications while identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships and grow our business through genuine member engagement.
We are seeking an experienced lender who can provide a service to our members to feel supported and valued throughout their lending journey, confidently review and analyse lending applications and prepare well-structured lending proposals that align with our credit policy. The successful candidate will work independently, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and ideally bring experience in credit assessment or credit analysis.
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week), based in our current state of the art Brisbane branch at 247 Adelaide Street, supporting the vibrant Brisbane region. You’ll be joining a supportive, values-driven team that empowers its people and celebrates success.
About You
- Strong banking knowledge with an understanding of financial analysis and credit standards
- Mortgage & SME lending experience
- A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation, time management skills and conflict resolution
- High attention to detail
- FSRA ASIC Tier II Accreditation (within 5 years) (or willingness to undertake it)
- Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (FNS40821)
