LINUX TECHNICIAN

Locations: Canberra OR Sydney

AGSVA Clearance is required (Level TBA upon application)

Narada Consulting is seeeking an experienced Linux Technician to support a major ICT modernisation project delivering secure, resilient systems across our client's environments.

You’ll work across Linux/RHEL infrastructure, supporting system builds, security hardening, monitoring, scripting and automation. The role includes developing reusable automated builds and producing technical documentation, SOPs and build guides.

Experience with RHEL 7/8/9, Ansible, GitLab, YUM and Elastic Stack (ELK) is highly desirable, along with strong Linux security and automation skills.

? Key Responsibilities

- Build, configure and support Linux/RHEL systems across Defence ICT environments.
- Provide technical expertise in Linux security, hardening and system monitoring.
- Develop scripts and automation to improve system deployment and configuration.
- Create and maintain reliable, reusable automated system builds.




- Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of Linux environments.
- Develop and peer review SOPs, build guides and technical documentation.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to support capability improvements
