nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Blaster/Painters with a robust background in Production to join our team in Sydneyn
nThe successful candidate will be a part team of tradespeople to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.n

nWhat you will be required to do:n
n•Prepare, clean, and strip metal surfaces through abrasive blasting, n
n•Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants for optimal coating adhesion.n
n•Operate and maintain abrasive blasting equipmentn
n•Mix and match paints and coatings according to specificationsn
n•Apply industrial coatings using airless and conventional spray equipment, rollers, and brushesn
n•Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure a smooth,



even finishn
n•Operate and maintain painting equipment safelyn
n•Follow workplace safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and ventilationn
n
nTo be successful in the role you will have (or willingness to obtain):n
n•Previous experience in industrial painting or a similar rolen
n•Knowledge of different painting techniques, coatings, and equipmentn
n•Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spacesn
n•Ability to set up, use and maintain abrasive blast and spray equipmentn
n•Minimum 2 years’ experience in painting and blasting, ideally within the structural steel or heavy equipment industry.n
n•Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating techniques, including abrasive blasting and industrial-grade paint application.n
n•Solid understanding of painting materials, blasting processes, and surface treatment methods.n
n•Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.n
n•Demonstrated experience in airless and conventional spray paintingn
n•Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
