Qualifications and Skills
n

- Degree from an accredited theological school is preferred.
n
- Experience counseling people who come from diverse religious/spiritual backgrounds.
n
- Knowledgeable of the religious community within the hospice service area.
n
- Experience relating to a wide variety of patients/families.
n
- Must understand and agree with the hospice philosophy.
n
- Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
n
- Willingness to serve on-call.
n
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
n
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function
n
- Strong organizational and communication skills; self-directed and able to work independently
n
- A professional image and the ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude are crucial
