E-novation Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated First Class CNC Machinist to join our innovative engineering and manufacturing team in Bibra Lake, Western Australia.

As a full time CNC machinist, your daily duties include:

- Set up, program and operate CNC machines including lathes and milling machines
- Experience with modern CNC controls, preferably Okuma
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems such as SolidCAM, including toolpath programming and machining strategy development
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Select the right tooling/insert and jigs for the required application
- Manufacture precision components to high tolerances
- Perform quality inspections using measuring instruments
- Select correct feeds and speeds.
- Work with a variety of materials including carbon steel,



stainless steel and exotic alloys
- Assist with continuous improvement of machining processes
- Maintain safe work practices and equipment maintenance
- Mentor apprentices and junior machinists and support skills development within the workshop
- Contribute to efficient workshop organisation and job planning

Skills and Experience

- AQF Certificate Ill in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience
- At least five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in using CAD and CNC programming is highly advantage
- Previous experience with 5-axis CNC Milling an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with precision machining and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
