Key Responsibilities

- Operate counterbalance forklifts to safely move heavy steel products including beams, plates, coils, and pipes
- Load and unload flatbed trucks, shipping containers, and delivery vehicles with metal cargo
- Rotate and organise stock across manufacturing floors, outdoor yards, and storage areas
- Maintain proper load balancing for unstable or irregularly shaped metal items
- Support production teams by moving materials to and from workstations
- Follow strict safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard‑free work environment

Requirements

- Current forklift licence and proven experience operating forklifts
- Ability to handle long steel products safely and efficiently
- Must pass drug and alcohol clearance prior to commencement
- Previous experience in manufacturing or similar environment
- Ability to work across rotating shifts
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
