About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Officer to join the team at ANDI MRO in Bassendean, WA. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and inventory management processes. As a Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of materials and goods, whilst maintaining accurate records and optimising our supply chain efficiency.

This position is integral to supporting our operational objectives and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials in accordance with company procedures and safety standards
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock audits to ensure data integrity
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying discrepancies or variances for investigation and resolution
- Processing purchase orders, repair orders, customer quotes, shipments, and delivery documentation with precision and attention to detail
- Liaising with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to facilitate timely collection and delivery of materials & jobs
- Organising warehouse space and implementing effective storage solutions to maximise efficiency
- Preparing and maintaining logistics reports and key performance indicators to support operational decision-making
- Assisting with inventory control systems and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in an aerospace repair and maintenance organisation logistics, warehouse or inventory management role or distribution setting (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively




- Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse management software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
- Competency in Component Control ERP (preferred not mandatory), Microsoft Office applications other standard database type programs
- Sound understanding of logistics principles, supply chain processes, and inventory control procedures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to undertake relevant forklift or machinery certifications
- A commitment to health and safety compliance in the workplace
