Working as part of a collaborative regional team, you will help implement on-ground activities that support farmers and land managers to improve productivity, build resilience to climate challenges, and adopt sustainable land management practices. This role will play a key part in delivering contracted project outcomes, engaging with stakeholders, supporting monitoring and reporting requirements, and contributing to positive outcomes for agricultural communities across the Northern Tablelands Local Land services region.

About The Role

As the Land Services Officer, you will:

- Support the implementation and delivery of the Climate Smart Agriculture Project across the Northern Tablelands region.
- Work directly with landholders, industry groups and community stakeholders to deliver project activities and extension services.
- Coordinate and support workshops, field days, demonstrations and other engagement activities.
- Assist with project monitoring, evaluation and reporting to ensure contractual obligations and project milestones are met.
- Collect, analyse and manage project data and information.
- Provide technical information, advice and support relating to sustainable agriculture and land management practices.
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with landholders, community groups, industry organisations and government agencies.
- Contribute to broader Local Land Services programs and priorities where required.

About You We're looking for someone who is passionate about agriculture and regional communities and enjoys working with people to achieve practical outcomes.

You Will Bring

- Experience in agriculture, natural resource management, environmental science, extension, project delivery or a related field.




- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to build productive relationships with farmers, community groups and industry partners.
- Experience supporting projects, programs or field-based activities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience collecting, managing and reporting information and project outcomes.
- A practical and customer-focused approach to problem solving.
- A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel across the Northern Tablelands region.
