The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a newly created Maintenance Team Leader position on our Night Shift (6:00pm to 6:00am). Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will play a key part in leading our Maintenance team and supporting operational excellence.

This is a frontline leadership opportunity responsible for leading a team of 3 to 5 employees and driving safety, quality, performance, and team capability across one of our manufacturing areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join a fast-paced and growing manufacturing environment. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our production equipment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.



Working with a team-oriented and skilled maintenance team, you'll contribute to world-class manufacturing performance while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

In this role you will:

- Carry out electrical fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and site equipment.
- Perform preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
- Diagnose faults in PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of plant and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders through the CMMS (MEX).
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with safety, GMP, and site standards.
- Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to minimise downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance reliability and efficiency.

About You

You are a trade-qualified Electrician with experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial setting. You enjoy fault finding, problem solving, and preventative maintenance, and you take pride in maintaining safe and reliable operations.

Ideally you will:

- Be a Trade qualified Electrician.
- Have experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or a similar industrial environment.
- Have proven ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate maintenance activities in a fast-paced operation.
- Possess strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Have experience using CMMS systems such as MEX.
- Have a strong understanding of maintenance best practices, safety systems, and GMP requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams.
