Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical maintenance support to production teams, maintaining plant and equipment to the highest standards
- Perform preventative and planned electrical maintenance across manufacturing equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and diagnose electrical faults to minimise production downtime
- Carry out electrical fault-finding, repairs, installations, modifications and equipment upgrades
- Troubleshoot automated systems, control systems and manufacturing equipment
- Assist with major plant upgrades, continuous improvement projects and engineering initiatives
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders through the CMMS
- Utilise MEX to manage preventative maintenance and maintenance activities
- Work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering and production teams while also being capable of working independently
What You’ll Bring
- Australian Electrical Trade Licence / Qualification – essential
- Previous industrial electrical experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with electrical installations, fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment
- Experience working with automation and material handling equipment
- Experience using CMMS systems – MEX desirable
- PLC experience desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food processing environments and food safety / HACCP principles desirable
- Strong understanding of OHS requirements and safe work practices
