About the role

HIT Plumbing are currently seeking to engage a full-time employee to join our growing maintenance business working on predominantly commercial sites throughout SEQ.

We would also welcome the opportunity to discuss engaging a subcontractor for semi regular work as well.

HIT Plumbing are primarily engaged to carry out maintenance plumbing to shopping centres, commercial and body corporate sites with only a small amount of real estate and residential work.

This role will see the successful applicant predominantly working at one of the most prominent sites in Brisbane with free onsite parking available.

Ideally the applicant will be familiar and comfortable with roofing works as well as general maintenance plumbing. Experience in commercial maintenance plumbing in high rise buildings will be looked upon favourably but is not essential.

What you'll be doing

- Respond promptly to service calls and identify and resolve a variety of plumbing problems
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as unblocking drains, repairing taps, and maintaining water systems
- Carry out testing of backflow devices and TMV's
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures and equipment, including toilets, sinks, water heaters, and pipes
- Diagnose and repair leaks and other plumbing issues
- Comply with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Utilising easy to use job management software for accurate reporting

What we're looking for

- Fully qualified and licensed plumber with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role




- Robust technical knowledge of plumbing systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of issues
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship
- Current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle (we may be able to provide a vehicle for the right person).
- A gas license, backflow and or TMV endorsements will be highly regarded but not essential
- Familiarity with ServiceM8 and or similar job management software would be hugely advantageous
- Be available for afterhours call outs on a roster system
