Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts including analysis of financial performance and key drivers
- Manage month-end close processes including general ledger reconciliations, intercompany settlements, journal entries and financial adjustments
- Partner with project managers to review project budgets, cost-to-complete forecasts, and financial performance
- Provide financial insights to support operational efficiency and cost control initiatives
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for projects and operational activities
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts to support liquidity and working capital management
- Conduct financial analysis to support pricing decisions, capital investments and current business opportunities. Workplace Health & Safety
Profile A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Must have CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
- Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Around 5 years' experience in management accounting, ideally within manufacturing, engineering or FMCG environments
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (Pronto or Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly regarded)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence non finance audiences
- Robust experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Sound understanding of cost accounting, inventory management and operational finance.
