What’s the role all about?

The role of the Management Accountant NZ is to provide timely and accurate financial management information to support strategic and operational decision-making for the QMS NZ Outdoor entity. The role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost control, and contributing to financial strategy across the organisation, and other tasks or projects as directed by the Group Financial Controller or Head of Finance – NZ Outdoor.

- Preparation of monthly management accounts for QMS NZ, QMS AU, and Omni NZ reporting packs, including variance analysis to budgets and year-on-year.

- Production and installation margins including monthly P&I; margin analysis by contracts and commercial partners.

- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.

- Assist with year-end financial reporting and audits.

- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts

- Preparation of monthly license fee returns for Wellington Airport,



Environment Canterbury, and Hamilton Regional Council.

- Assist in preparation of monthly license fee returns for Auckland Transport.

- Filing of monthly OOHMAA returns and maintain QMS NZ market share report.

- Preparation and filing of monthly returns and commission calculations for We Think Media.

- Maintain sales commission calculations for all sales reps (including preparation of monthly accruals and payroll files).

- Reviewer and first approver for payrolls.

- Approve journals in NetSuite

- NetSuite administration including uploading new classes/project codes.

Are you…?

- Qualified or Part-qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management accounting or similar finance role

- Strong Excel and ERP system skills.

- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Experience in presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
