Position Title Civil Manager

Role Description Integris Consulting is seeking an experienced Civil Manager to lead our civil engineering team and deliver high-quality projects across a diverse portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical leadership, project management, and client engagement within a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

This full-time hybrid position is based in North Ryde, NSW, with flexibility to work from home as required.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project planning, design, and delivery while ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, safety, and commercial performance. You will manage stormwater and drainage design solutions, coordinate civil projects, conduct site inspections, and prepare high-quality technical reports and documentation.

As a key leader within the business, you will mentor and develop engineering staff, foster strong client relationships,



and collaborate closely with structural engineers and other disciplines to deliver integrated and innovative project outcomes. You will also monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources while driving continuous improvement across engineering processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from feasibility and design through to delivery.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Design and review stormwater management, drainage, and civil infrastructure solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Mentor, supervise, and support the professional development of engineering team members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, practical, and cost-effective solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best-practice engineering methodologies.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, client engagement, and project opportunities.

Qualifications and ExperienceEssential
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Solid project management experience, including planning,



scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven expertise in stormwater management, drainage design, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor, develop, and manage engineering teams.
- Experience in site inspections, quality assurance, and compliance with relevant Australian standards, regulations, and codes.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design and drafting software, including 12d Model, Drains, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Desirable
- Chartered Engineer (CPEng) status or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Experience in consulting and client-facing engineering roles.
- Knowledge of road design, utilities, stormwater networks, subdivisions, and land development projects.
- Proven ability to manage project profitability, client expectations, and project delivery outcomes.
