ABOUT THE ORGANISATION A Global Investment Group requires an experienced Manager of Financial Reporting due to an exciting phase of growth in New Business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Reporting directly to the Head of Accounting & Tax you will be responsible for leading a skilled team of Finance and Accounting professionals
- Providing leadership and professional support to the team of 7 guiding them to deliver timely analysis to their clients and assisting them to collaborate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
- As Manager and a key point of contact ensure that deliverables to clients are both efficient and accurately presented within agreed Service level agreements (SLA).
- Continuous analysis and optimisation of capabilities, internal processes and system changes
- Driving a culture of risk awareness and compliance with current legislation and internal policies.
- Provide expertise and support in the setup of new investment funds, clients or fund restructures
- Oversight and controlled self-assessment testing of procedures and deliverables with our agreed risk management framework




- Develop staff through on-the-job training and setting out clear performance expectations ensuring skilled growth and development over time

ABOUT YOU

- Experience in a professional environment such as Funds Management, Custody, BIG 4 or Superannuation ideal
- Degree qualified with CA/CPA beneficial
- Understanding of Funds and Superannuation Sector with knowledge of Investment Markets welcome
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity for clients and the business
- Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Superior Client Management skills with the ability to build long term professional relationships
- The ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team with high attention to detail
- Experience supervising, mentoring and delegating to Accounting & Finance professionals.
