Manager, Contracts and Relationships Location – Parramatta, Sydney (Hybrid work) Employment type – Temporary (12 months), Full time Salary – Clerk Grade 11/12 - $154,231 - $178,369 per annum, plus superannuation and leave loading.

Your role You will manage and monitor contracts with service providers to make sure they are meeting their obligations, delivering services as agreed, and achieving the required performance standards. You'll manage a team to analyse performance, ensure compliance, and provide advice to leadership.

You will engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate performance outcomes and help improve contract management processes and reporting.

What You’ll Do

- Manage the day-to-day administration of contracts, ensuring they comply with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
- Review and analyse service providers performance against their contracts, identify any issues, and help resolve them.
- Prepare high level strategic documents including business cases, project plans, reports, briefing notes, submissions, and other documents.
- Provide advice and reports to senior leaders on contract performance, compliance, and related projects to support decision-making.
- Organise and lead meetings with service providers and work with internal teams to communicate contract requirements, expectations, and performance outcomes.
- Oversee contract management systems and databases to ensure contract records and performance information are accurate and up to date.
- Research trends and issues in contract management, review performance measures, and recommend improvements.
- Support and guide high performing contract professionals by providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring when needed.
- Represent Corrective Services NSW when discussing complex contract matters with a range of stakeholders.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and appropriately.
- Analyse complex information and present it clearly and simply for different audiences, including those without technical knowledge.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines and quality standards.




- Developing and maintain electronic databases for accurate contract documentation and performance management of contract aligned metrics.

What We’re Looking For

- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in contract management, compliance, project management, finance or a related field.
- Strong business acumen, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with contracts, performance reporting, or compliance monitoring.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
- Willingness to travel across NSW as required.
