Your New Role

We're looking for a Manager, Regulatory Engagement & Change to play a key role in shaping how Aware manages regulatory change, engages with regulators, and communicates regulatory developments across the enterprise. This is a unique opportunity for a regulatory, compliance or governance professional who enjoys driving continuous improvement, influencing stakeholders, and delivering practical solutions in a dynamic environment.

- 12 month max term opportunity (Parental Leave Cover)
- Sydney or Melbourne location
- Hybrid working environment

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and/or contribute to the ongoing evolution of Aware's regulatory change management framework, operating model, governance arrangements and supporting processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve how regulatory change is managed, communicated and embedded across the enterprise.
- Facilitate workshops and structured stakeholder engagement activities to understand business needs, challenge existing approaches and co-design future state solutions.
- Bring external perspectives, industry practices and innovative thinking to support the continuous improvement of regulatory change management at Aware.
- Support the research, design, testing and implementation of enhancements to regulatory change processes, tools,



reporting, communications and governance.
- Explore and assess opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation, to improve regulatory change management, stakeholder engagement, communications, reporting and operational efficiency.
- Ensure that strong relationships are appropriately managed with regulators by supporting the Senior Manager, Regulatory Strategy and Regulatory Affairs Leads.

How do you exceed our expectations?

- 4+ years' experience in compliance, regulatory affairs or regulatory change within financial services; superannuation and/or investment experience is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements, with the ability to analyse complex developments and translate them into practical business outcomes.
- Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder engagement skills, including workshop facilitation, influencing and communicating with diverse audiences.
- Strong strategic thinking and enterprise perspective, with the ability to identify impacts, interdependencies and opportunities arising from regulatory developments and change initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, business transformation,



governance or operating model design, with the ability to drive meaningful change.
- A background/tertiary qualifications in Law would be advantageous.
