About the Opportunity

PARC Engineering is seeking a reliable, organised and detail-focused Materials Controller to join our Plant Yard team, in O'Connor WA, on a casual part-time basis. This is a practical, hands-on role combining materials handling, administration and systems-based control. The successful candidate will be provided with sufficient support and training, whilst working alongside the existing team, before taking end-to-end ownership of this key materials control function.

The role is approximately 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with flexibility around start and finish times between 6:30am and 5:00pm. This position may suit someone looking for school-hour employment or a flexible part-time arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, physically check and receipt materials delivered to the Plant Yard.
- Match deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Complete goods receipting and maintain accurate records in Pronto.
- Cross-reference materials received against Redmap and identify discrepancies.
- Follow up suppliers regarding missing documentation, incorrect deliveries and invoicing issues.
- Maintain the Plant Yard goods receipt register and ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
- Record and manage the sign-out of materials collected for project sites.
- Ensure materials remain accountable and traceable from receipt through to collection.
- Work closely with the Plant Yard and project teams to maintain effective materials control.

About You

- Highly organised and detail-focused, with a strong commitment to accuracy.




- Reliable and consistent in following processes and completing follow-up tasks.
- Experience with Pronto, Redmap or similar systems is preferred
- Previous experience in material control, warehousing, logistics or plant control in a construction project environment preferred
- Confident communicating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proactive in identifying discrepancies and taking ownership of resolving them.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to an operational team.
