Revolution Autocare – Caloundra, Sunshine Coast Full-time | Monday to Friday | No weekends
Revolution Autocare is looking for an experienced, qualified automotive mechanic to join our established independent workshop in Caloundra.
We work on a wide variety of passenger vehicles, 4WDs and light commercial vehicles, so this isn’t a role where you’ll be doing the same basic service work every day. You’ll be involved in servicing, repairs, fault-finding and more involved mechanical and diagnostic work.
We’re looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their workmanship, knows how to diagnose faults properly and wants to be part of a straightforward, supportive team where good work is recognised and appreciated.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Logbook servicing and general mechanical repairs
- Brake, steering, suspension and cooling-system repairs
- Engine, transmission and driveline repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out thorough vehicle inspections
- Accurately identifying and reporting required repairs
- Completing digital job cards and inspection reports
- Communicating clearly with the workshop manager and other technicians
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Australian-recognised light-vehicle mechanical qualification
- Current Australian working rights
- A current driver’s licence
- Strong servicing, repair and fault-finding skills
- The ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Valuable attention to detail
- Honest, reliable and professional work habits
- The ability to work independently and contribute to a team
Experience with 4WDs, diesel diagnosis or automotive electrical work would be highly regarded but is not essential.
What we offer
- Full-time, Monday-to-Friday employment
- No weekend work
- A strong hourly rate based on your experience and demonstrated ability
- Varied mechanical and diagnostic work
- Modern diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
- A well-established independent workshop
- Supportive, approachable management
- A practical workplace without unnecessary dealership politics
- Opportunities to develop your diagnostic and technical skills
- Support to gain additional industry licences and qualifications
This is a hands-on position for someone who consistently produces quality work and wants to be treated as a valued member of the team. If you’re an experienced mechanic looking for a stable position, varied work and the opportunity to continue building your skills, we’d like to hear from you.
Please apply with your résumé and a brief introduction outlining your experience.
