About the Role:

We are seeking a practical and detail-focused Mechanical Draftsperson to join our Engineering and R&D; team.

You will contribute to the design, development and continuous improvement of our products and technologies. The role includes producing and controlling manufacturing drawings, maintaining technical documentation and supporting our various Operations and Commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop recent mechanical designs and improve existing products, equipment and technologies.
- Prepare accurate manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
- Manage approved drawing packs, revisions and design changes.
- Ensure drawings and documentation meet company, quality and drawing standards.
- Maintain consistent drawing processes, procedures and file structures.
- Strong CAD skills, with proven proficiency using Autodesk Inventor.
- Provide technical support across Operations and Commercial teams.
- Work with suppliers, contractors,



clients and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with engineering calculations and technical problem-solving.

About You:

You will bring a combination of mechanical design capability, practical experience, strong attention to detail and bring a hands-on approach.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

- Strong CAD skills, with experience using Autodesk Inventor.
- Experience producing mechanical designs and manufacturing drawings.
- A sound understanding of mechanical drawing standards, document control and quality systems.
- Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confidence using spreadsheets and preparing or interpreting engineering calculations.
- Effective technical communication skills.
- Relevant hands-on mechanical engineering or manufacturing experience.
- A relevant Trade Certificate, Mechanical Design Certificate or Diploma, or Engineering Degree.
