Join our team as a full time or part-time receptionist at Shenton Park General Practice!

Shenton Park General Practice is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. The position is part-time approx. 15 hours per week; applicants must be available Thursdays between 7.30am - 5pm.

Experience with Best Practice software is essential

Tasks and Responsibilities: You will play a key role in our modern, well-established practice, providing essential support to our patients, GPs and nursing team.

- Welcome and assist patients with enquiries and appointments.
- Answer and respond to telephone enquiries courteously and professionally.
- Accurately process patient payments via cash, EFTPOS, and direct bill transactions.
- Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient personal and financial information.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the practice.

- Strong Administrative Skills: Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.




- Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in managing documentation and appointments.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using various software applications.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Highly Regarded:

- Previous experience in an accredited general practice.
- Experience using Best Practice software.
- Retail experience is an advantage.
