About the role
Kerr Contracting WA Pty Ltd (KCWA) is seeking a skilled and reliable Trade Tradesperson/Installer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Stake Hill, WA. As an Installer/Field Service Technician, you will be the face of our company, providing expert technical support and service delivery to our valued clients across the region.

Key responsibilities
- Installation of Dust & Fume control systems - Filtration systems, Fans, Blowers, Ductwork & Suppression systems and more
- Service and Maintenance on Dust & Fume control systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on client equipment and systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Install, repair and replace components and systems in accordance with technical specifications
- Complete accurate documentation and service reports for all jobs undertaken
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner
- Manage time efficiently to meet scheduled appointments and respond to service calls in a timely manner
- Maintain and organise tools, equipment and vehicle to ensure readiness for daily operations
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and best practice standards on site
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to clients where appropriate
- Support team members and contribute to the overall success of the organisation
What we're looking for - (Highly regarded but not essential)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's licence and reliable access to transport (a vehicle may be provided)
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in various environmental conditions
- Neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
- A commitment to health and safety compliance
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development
- EWP licence
- Forklift licence
- Working at Height certificate
- Confined space entry certificate
- Experience working on Mine sites
