About the RoleGBM is seeking a well-connected music industry professional to support our growth across the Australian music market.

This is a part time hybrid role, working 3 days per week. The role is best suited to someone who is already active within the Australian music, media, entertainment, publishing, distribution, or rights management sector.

This is not a general sales or marketing role. We are looking for someone with genuine music industry exposure, relevant relationships, and a practical understanding of how the Australian music business operates.

The successful candidate will help GBM build meaningful relationships with artists, record labels, publishers, managers, studios,



composers, producers, media partners, and other key industry stakeholders. The role will focus on market development, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and strengthening GBM’s presence across Australia.

Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:

- Build and maintain strong relationships across the Australian music, media, and entertainment sectors.
- Identify and approach potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Support client sign-up, onboarding, and business growth opportunities.
- Connect with artists, labels, publishers, managers, producers, composers, studios, distributors, media networks, and digital platforms.
- Help increase GBM’s visibility, credibility, and commercial presence in the Australian market.
- Identify opportunities across royalty collection, rights management, publishing administration, distribution, and strategic partnerships.
- Share relevant market insights, industry developments, and business opportunities with management.
- Represent GBM professionally in meetings, industry discussions, events, and partnership conversations.
- Contribute to GBM’s long-term growth strategy in Australia.





About YouWe are looking for someone who:

- Is currently active in the Australian music, media, entertainment, publishing, distribution, or rights management sector.
- Has an existing network of relevant Australian music industry contacts.
- Understands the Australian music landscape and key industry stakeholders.
- Can build trust-based relationships with confidence and professionalism.
- Is commercially aware and able to identify genuine business opportunities.
- Has strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Understands the value of music rights, royalties, publishing, distribution, and long-term catalogue monetisation.
- Has experience in partnerships, artist relations, label relations, music business, media relations, publishing, distribution, rights management, or business development.
