What You’ll Do

- Manage end-to-end operations for all pooled and internal Unit Load Devices (ULDs) — pallets, crates, and other equipment that keeps goods moving from supplier to store — across three sites.
- Lead the transformation and optimisation of ULD flows, minimising loss/damage and controlling associated costs across Erskine Park, Derrimut and Parkinson DC sites
- Provide strategic leadership, mentoring, and support to geographically dispersed ULD Teams and DC Returns Co-Ordinators
- Support negotiation and management of multi-million-dollar contracts with key suppliers (CHEP, LOSCAM, VPS, Ozkor), with support from the Woolworths legal team.
- Support national ULD compliance strategy, lead investigations into non-conformance, and maintain industry expertise to mitigate business risk and inform regional strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Primary Connect,



Woolworths Supermarkets, BIG W, and other areas to develop and implement national ULD strategy.

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in pallet control management in supply chain logistics or network operations
- Ability to influence and energise large, geographically dispersed operational teams
- A track record of embedding change and leading operational teams through complex business implementations
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
- A passion for data – you know how to make numbers talk and drive results.
- A high level of enthusiasm & drive for making things better, faster, and more cost-efficient
- Experience in 2IC pallet control software system
