Demeter Grains is a Grain Export and Trading company based in Hope Valley, (Kwinana, Naval Base area). Specialising in exports of Animal feeds, grains and pulses for human consumption.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated person/s to join our Nightshift Production Team with strong career development opportunities available. This is a hands-on role in a quick-paced manufacturing environment where you'll play a vital role as part of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring a high level of site hygiene is achieved and is able to ensure a high standard of quality assurance.
- Undertaking various grain handling and storage tasks, operating a variety of fixed and mobile plant equipment. Majority of which is all new as of October 2024
- Ensuring product quality and consistency through regular checks
- Manual handling, lifting bags (up to 25 kg) and maintaining clean work areas
- Following workplace health & safety procedures and company policies
- Assisting with general production line duties as required
About You:
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Previous experience in Grain Handling and Container Logistics (preferred but not essential)
- Forklift license (desirable but not mandatory)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.

The position is predominately working Monday to Friday, starting 3.30pm - 2am. With some weekend work depending a seasonal conditions. Previous experience in grain handling or container logistics is not required, however will be looked upon favorably. On the job training will be provided as required. This position is available for an immediate start.
