About the Role

We are seeking a confident and experienced Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a proactive general practice nurse who can work independently and part of a team while providing clinical and procedural support to GPs in a busy primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-employment medicals including spirometry and drug & alcohol testing

Conduct CCMP's, health assessments & care plans

Immunisations (including childhood & adult schedules)

Wound care, Iron infusions, cannulation & skin procedure support

Assisting with skin procedures & minor surgeries

ECG's, ear syringing and other clinical procedures

Manage recalls, reminders, and chronic disease management

Infection control and cold chain management

Contribute to quality improvements and accreditation processes

Coordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilisation, care of medical instruments and equipment, and general maintenance.

About You

Current AHPRA registration as an RN/EN

Minimum two years recent Full-time experience working in general practice

Proficient in Best Practice & Hot Doc software





Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Capacity to multi-task and prioritise

Australian work rights are required for this position

Our Nursing to Doctor Ratio is 1:3/1:4 dependent on doctors' treatment room needs and utilisation.

Please note due to the multi-site operations nature of our business we do have a requirement that nurses are able and willing to work across other secondary locations depending on the needs and wants of the business hence some flexibility would be appreciated. Generally, the rotations happen with our practices at Ormeau and Pimpama which are approx. 15/20 minutes apart from one another.
