Join Our Team as an Occupational Health Registered Nurse

We are expanding our dedicated onsite medical team to provide onsite support to our client:
- DIDO or FIFO Role – Work on a 19/9 roster at our client’s site in Roma
- Contract Duration - 5 years with potential to extend
Camp accommodation and meals are provided, so you can focus on what you do best—delivering exceptional healthcare.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of our onsite health team, you’ll play a vital role in promoting wellness and managing workplace health in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Your work will directly contribute to safer, healthier outcomes for employees and stronger partnerships with our clients.
Your key focus will be:
- Providing triage and case management for workplace injuries – You’ll be the first point of contact for injury response, guiding employees through recovery and supporting sustainable return-to-work plans that align with best practice and client expectations.
- Partnering with the client’s HSE stakeholders – You’ll collaborate closely with Health, Safety & Environment teams to ensure medical services are aligned with site safety goals,
compliance standards, and proactive health strategies. Your input will help shape a culture of care and prevention across the workforce.
- Delivering health and wellness initiatives – From administering vaccinations to leading toolbox talks, you’ll champion preventative health and contribute to a safer, more informed workforce.
- Conducting workplace medical assessments – Including audiometry, spirometry, drug screening, functional capacity evaluations, and aerobic fitness tests to support employment and fitness-for-duty requirements.
- Managing general health administration – Ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and communication to support seamless medical operations onsite.
What We’re Looking For We are seeking passionate, adaptable nurses who thrive in autonomous roles and enjoy working in remote settings. To be successful, you will need:
- A degree in nursing and current AHPRA registration
- Experience or qualifications in audiometry, spirometry, drug & alcohol screening, and/or immunisation (highly regarded)
- Current ALS, PTLS, ISI, First Aid & CPR certifications
- A valid driver’s license (defensive driving training highly regarded)
- Robust communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a professional, approachable manner
- Previous experience in occupational health or remote nursing (a plus!)
