About You

We are looking for someone who is committed to teamwork, communicates effectively and can manage competing priorities.

You will be someone who is willing to learn, able to adapt to changing operational requirements and committed to supporting your colleagues and providing a high standard of service.

You Will Have

- Previous experience as an Operations Assistant, or a willingness and capacity to learn the role.
- Training in the maintenance and cleaning of endoscopes, or a willingness to undertake this training.
- The ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
- Knowledge and understanding of infection prevention and control guidelines and policies.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Availability and willingness to work a 7-day rotating roster, including the capacity to work at short notice to cover unforeseen vacancies when required.
- Willingness to participate in on-call periods as required.

You don't need to have every skill from day one. We provide comprehensive one-on-one, on-the-floor training with experienced senior staff, along with corporate orientation and online learning. The most significant qualities are your reliability, flexibility and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
