Lead the delivery, maintenance and optimisation of Council’s critical Water and Wastewater electrotechnology infrastructure and electrical assets. This key leadership role combines technical expertise, contractor and resource management, and operational oversight to ensure secure, reliable and customer-focused service delivery across maintenance programs, capital works and emergency response activities.

About The Role

- Lead high-performing Electrical and Electronic Technician teams supporting critical Council infrastructure.
- Coordinate maintenance, projects, contractors and emergency response activities across Water and Wastewater assets.
- Drive safe, reliable and efficient service delivery through strong operational leadership and planning.
- Champion team development, workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and stakeholder support to optimise asset performance and service outcomes.

- 76 hour, 9 day fortnight

We are seeking

- A qualified Electrotechnology professional with strong experience in industrial electrical operations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and lead high-performing teams.
- Have hands-on expertise in water and wastewater electrical systems, instrumentation and control technologies.
- Champion safety, compliance and best practice, with a robust understanding of Australian Standards.
- Proactive problem-solver with exceptional fault-finding skills and experience using asset management systems.

- What experience do you have maintaining and operating industrial electrical systems, particularly within water and wastewater infrastructure, pumping systems, instrumentation and control technologies?

- Provide an example of a complex electrical fault or plant breakdown you have resolved, including your use of asset or maintenance management systems to support service delivery.
