About The Role Join the Centre for Social Impact Swinburne (CSIS) and the Centre for Inclusive Employment and play an important role in supporting research that creates positive social and economic impact. As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll provide operational, research administration and project support across both Centres. Working closely with Centre Directors, Managers, the Operations Manager and research staff, you’ll support financial and reporting activities, research and contract administration, governance, compliance and other operational priorities.
This is a varied role where you’ll bring structure to a busy research environment, manage competing priorities and help ensure projects and Centre activities are delivered effectively.
Up to two positions are available, with full-time and part-time (0.6 FTE) options. These are fixed-term positions until 30 June 2028.
About You You’re an organised and proactive professional who enjoys working collaboratively, managing competing priorities and building positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You’ll be adaptable, collaborative and confident working in a dynamic research environment.
You’ll bring
- Experience in financial administration, research or contract administration, compliance or related processes.
- Strong organisational, project and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and maturity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate policies and procedures.
- Experience supporting governance and committees, including agenda preparation, minute-taking and accessibility requirements.
- Highly developed Microsoft Office and digital skills, including experience with data management systems and databases.
Qualifications Completion of a bachelor’s degree with relevant executive administration experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
