About Gridarc
Gridarc is a growing electrical contractor delivering high-quality work across insurance, high-end residential builds and new commercial developments throughout Greater Melbourne. As our team and workload continue to grow, we're looking for the right electrical professional to take ownership of our day-to-day operations and become the key link between the Director, field team, builders, clients and suppliers.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining office-based operations with regular site involvement.

You'll be joining Gridarc at a stage where you can have a real impact — helping build the systems, processes and structure required for our next stage of growth.
Your Role Will Include
- Managing the day-to-day operations of our electrical field team
- Scheduling and coordinating electricians and apprentices
- Planning labour, resources and upcoming works
- Reviewing scopes and preparing jobs before commencement
- Coordinating materials, wholesalers and purchase orders
- Monitoring project progress, labour, materials and job costs
- Conducting regular site visits
- Liaising with builders, supervisors, clients and suppliers
- Managing variations and additional works
- Assisting with quoting and estimating where required
- Following up outstanding works, defects and return visits
- Ensuring job notes, photos and documentation are completed correctly
- Maintaining accurate jobs and projects within AroFlo
- Ensuring completed works progress through to invoicing
- Supporting quality assurance and field team accountability
- Identifying issues and delays before they impact projects
- Working directly with the Director to continually improve operations
Ultimately, your job is to keep our electricians productive, our projects moving and our clients informed.
What We Need From You
Essential
- Robust experience within the electrical contracting industry
- Solid understanding of electrical materials, terminology and wholesalers
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate electricians and apprentices
- Ability to understand electrical scopes and project requirements
- Strong communication with builders, clients and field staff
- Practical mindset with the ability to think on your feet
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Confidence taking ownership and making decisions
- Current driver's licence
Highly Regarded
- Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Electrical project, service or operations management experience
- Experience supervising electrical field staff
- Estimating, quoting and variations experience
- Understanding of job costing and labour utilisation
- AroFlo and Xero experience
