About the Role The Operations Officer is responsible for providing general administrative and operational activities, within a busy office environment, to support the effective and efficient operational management of the Faculty of Health. This will be achieved by supporting the Operations Manager and Senior Operations Officer by:

- Providing a range of general administrative, travel and expense, procurement and project support.
- Coordinating events, induction and onboarding activities for staff and contractors.
- Support faculty safety, risk and compliance activities.
- Providing Casual Academic Contract (CAD) support including processing and training activities.
- Ensuring the physical resources, workspace consumables and common areas are appropriately maintained.
- Managing the resolution of a range of queries as they arise in a timely manner relating to administrative, HR or financial systems, students, visitors, facilities or staff matters.

- Demonstrated experience in a similar administrative role in a large, complex and high-pressured environment.
- Demonstrated ability to execute complex tasks with a keen attention to detail, especially while under pressure
- Excellent computer skills,



including the use of databases and common office software packages (including Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel) and ability to rapidly learn unfamiliar systems
- High-level planning and critical thinking skills.
- Willingness to learn and be cutting-edge, with a good attention to detail.

Remuneration & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $87,295 - $99,865 per annum (HEW 5)

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis. A hybrid work arrangement is available which comprises of working 3-4 days onsite at the UTS Broadway Sydney campus with some remote working.
