Occhio Optometry is looking for a friendly, motivated Optical Dispenser / Optical Assistant to join our team in Fitzroy.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people find the right eyewear and wants to be part of a welcoming, patient-focused independent practice.
About the role
You’ll be involved in all aspects of the optical side of the practice, including:
- Providing personalised eyewear recommendations and styling advice
- Cutting and fitting lenses
- Dispensing
- Taking measurements and adjustments
- Assisting patients throughout their eyewear journey
- Frame and product selection and merchandising
- Processing orders and liaising with suppliers
- General reception and practice support
- Providing an exceptional patient experience
Optical dispensing experience is highly regarded.
